BOPET Film for Lightweight Mono-material Lamination

BOPET (biaxially oriented polyester) film is a clear, strong polyester film used as a structural layer in flexible packaging and industrial converting. It is supplied in a range of gauges on paper cores in export packing, with slit width and core size agreed per order. Because polyester can be recovered in mono-material PET recycling streams, BOPET film supports packaging designs that avoid multi-material laminates and keep the whole structure in one stream. Its high strength per unit weight means thinner gauges can carry the same load, so packs can be downgauged and material use reduced without losing stiffness or barrier.
